The best thing to do is make sure you match your power supply with the device requirements.

Many of us use a 9volt to power fans that require 12volts. This ends up with the batteries overheating which can lead to failure and leakage.

Check your power set ups and make the appropriate changes.

It's a Rubies Halloween costume. What did you expect. It's for the folks who just want to wear it once and hang it up.
