Well,the parts are drying as I type.I'll take one more crack at whatever is left.As for rivets,they woked great on my thigh armor.Rock solid.Since I'm decked out as a Sandtrooper,I just dirtied up the rivet head so it wouldn't be as visible.As a last ditch effort,I'd recommend their use.

gum sticky stuff whatever it's the stuff when you rub your finger across it, it smears and doesn't want to lift off the surface. (dawn breaks it up too, but it takes longer) That's the problem I had last year.There was always just a bit left I couldn't get off.I could never get the thigh pieces to ...

Removal Of Gooey Stuff On Armor?

I'm attempting to remove the velcro on parts of my armor so I can glue the pieces instead.The upper arms are just too small for these guns.I'm using the shims to expand them.However,the sticky residue won't let the glue weld the parts together.What can I use to effectively remove this stuff?
