Around the MWG

The MWG has been lucky to have Jim Tampa TB1020 as our Garrison Public Relations for the last few years. After many hours of lay-outs such as those used in the MWG's press release kits & newsletters and conversing with other PR officers in the Legion, Tampa has decided to retire. Kathy VanBeuningen TK9989 recently appointed Jerry Treiber DZ5591 to the position. Treiber is well-known in the garrison for his willingness to help and drive across state lines for events. His efforts in July's Racine parade earned him July Trooper of the Month. Treiber is familar with the duties that the postion requires and the membership of the MWG looks forward to seeing his talents utilized! Congratulations, Grunt!

Imperial Astromechs and technicians foiled Rebel plans to steal antiquated aircraft to bolster their forces in their struggle against the Empire. Technicians replaced the power plants with non-functioning replicas.
The Astromechs then went on to thrill young children who were tatooed by artisians during the Open Cockpit Day at the Prairie Air Museum in Bloomington, Illinois.
